This blog post features a few recommendations of where to shop for Christian inspired merchandise.

Whenever I get the chance to take a break from my busy life of balancing schoolwork, home life, and my social life, I tend to resort to shopping. Whether it is online or taking a trip up to the store, I would say this is a way to either fulfill my boredom or it just gives me something to do. I love to buy things for other people, especially when it has a bible verse or something inspirational and glorifying to God on it. Here are a few different places to check out next time you are shopping:

Hobby Lobby

Hobby Lobby by far is one of my favorite places to shop. Not only do they have a plethora of craft supplies which is perfect for my scrap booking, but they have SO much Christian merchandise. From Bibles, to devotionals, to stickers, to wall decor, to figurines, to mugs, to daily scripture calendars, and so much more. I tend to spend hours in this store, not just for the merchandise, but also the atmosphere. It is a Christian owned store and that plays Christian music which I find to be comforting. This store is the perfect place to buy seasonal religious inspired gifts for family and friends as well.

DaySpring- Live Your Faith

DaySpring is another place to find all your religious merchandise also. A lot of their merchandise runs through as a product of Hobby Lobby as well, but there are also DaySpring Christian Bookstores too. Their selection ranges from to Christian inspired wall decor, clothing, jewelry, bags, pillows, candles, kitchenware, cards, crosses, etc. Their products are also not just geared towards adults, but they have children’s bibles, devotionals, toys, and so on. This store has beautiful designs and the products are perfect to buy for someone for any occasion.

Family Christian

This store is near and dear to my heart. I have vivid memories as a child of my parents taking me to this beloved store. But unfortunately, all the stores were closed a few years ago and now are solely online. But that does not stop me from going to their website and seeing all what they have to offer. Their website has themes sectioned: Mind & Heart, Health & Home, Faith & Church, Shop, and Devotionals. In each theme there are different blog posts, ideas, videos, lessons, etc. As well as in their shop section, it takes you to another page where you can shop for: Bibles, Bible Accessories, Bible Studies, DVDs, Music, Toys, Vacation Bible School, Church Supplies, and more.

The Bible Project

The Bible Project is an online place that offers free, animated Biblical theology. These videos are a perfect resource to dive deeper into scripture and have stories explained through a short little animation. They have all different books of the Bible, series, and Biblical Themes as well, such as Heaven & Earth, Messiah, Covenants, Holiness, and so on. These explanations may not take that much time to watch, but they offer so much insight and knowledge of the God’s great story.

So if you find yourself searching for Christian books, wall decor, gifts for friends or maybe you just are interested in learning more about the Bible, check out these websites!
